Overview
Navtarang Fiji Hindi Radio (“the app”) is published by Chand Studios (“we”, “us”). It streams live radio and requires no account — there is nothing to sign up for and no profile to create. This policy explains what data the app uses and the choices you have.
The app is free to download.
Data stored on your device
The app stores your preferences locally on your device — things like the last station you played, your volume and playback settings, and whether you have dismissed any prompts. This information stays on your device and is not uploaded to a personal cloud account.
Live radio streams
The app plays live audio streams operated by the broadcasters themselves. When you start playback, your device connects directly to the broadcaster’s streaming server, which will see standard network information such as your IP address, the time of the request and your device’s user agent. That connection is between your device and the broadcaster — we do not receive or store a record of what you listened to, or when.
Where a station broadcasts now-playing text or artwork alongside its audio, the app displays it as received. That metadata comes from the broadcaster and is not generated by us.
Station configuration
So that stream addresses can be corrected without shipping an app update, the app fetches its station list and related configuration from Google Firebase at launch. This is a read-only request for configuration data. Firebase processes standard network information (such as your IP address) to serve it. No personal information is sent as part of this request. Advertising & consent
The app shows ads through Google AdMob. To serve ads, Google may process an advertising identifier and standard ad-request data such as your approximate location (derived from your IP address), device type and the ad slots shown.

Crash and error reporting
The app uses Google Firebase Crashlytics to record crash and error diagnostics — such as device model, operating-system version and the technical stack trace — so that problems can be found and fixed. This information is not used to identify you personally, is never sold, and no advertising profile is built from it. See Firebase privacy .
Analytics
The app uses Google Firebase Analytics to understand aggregate usage — for example how many people open the app, which screens are used, and where people run into trouble. These reports are aggregated and are not used to identify you personally.
Children
The app is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Your choices
- Play or stop any stream at any time — nothing plays until you press play.
- Delete all locally stored data by clearing the app's data in Android settings.
- Change or reset your advertising consent and identifier from your device settings.
- Email us to ask what data is held about your installation, or to request its deletion.
Security & retention
Data stored on your device remains there until you delete it, clear the app’s data, or uninstall the app. Crash diagnostics are retained by Firebase under its own retention schedule. We do not sell personal information.
