Word Trail is a relaxing word-search adventure where every hidden word brings a beautiful destination back to life. No internet needed — the campaign plays anywhere, so it travels as well as you do.
Trace words across crisp, handcrafted letter grids. Words run horizontally, vertically, diagonally, forwards and backwards. Solve a search and watch forests brighten, lanterns glow, and the trail unfold a little further.
Play the campaign at your own pace, then take on Daily Challenges across three difficulties, drop into limited-time Events, or unwind in Endless Zen mode where nothing is counting down at all.

Does Word Trail work offline?
Yes. The full campaign plays offline with no connection at all, which makes it a good flight or commute game. Only the leaderboard and limited-time Events need the internet.
Is Word Trail free?
Yes, it is free to download and play on both Android and iOS. It shows ads, and a one-off Remove Ads purchase is available if you would rather not see them.
Do I need an account to play?
No. You can play as a guest indefinitely. You only pick an explorer name if you want to appear on the global leaderboard, and that name is the only thing published.
What is Zen mode?
Zen is an endless, untimed word search with no failure state and no score pressure. Grids keep arriving for as long as you want to keep finding words.
Is it playable with low vision or motion sensitivity?
Yes. There are large-letter and high-contrast options, a reduce-motion setting, left-handed controls and haptics, and found words are marked with a pattern and a strike-through rather than by colour alone.
